When everyone laughs together.
We create clown shows that leave something behind. Not a moral, not a lesson. Something more subtle: the memory of a moment when everything stopped and everyone laughed together.
They already chose us
Maki has been doing this since he was sixteen.
Sonia met him and never managed to stop.
We are a couple in life before being one on stage. He's Italian, she's French, together for over ten years on stage and forever in life. We have two kids. And when we say our shows are made for families, we mean we built them living inside one.
We both hold degrees in Education Sciences. Not to bring messages into shows, but because we believe that what passes through joy stays longer than what passes through words.
Maki has been working as a clown for 35 years. We've brought our shows to squares, theatres, companies and festivals across Italy and abroad.
We never do reruns. Ever.
When we arrive, we observe. Who's there, how old they are, what the vibe is. Then we build. The outline is there, but what really happens depends on who's in front of us. If we perform twice in the same day, they're two different shows. Really.
At some point, nobody looks at their phone anymore. Kids stop running. Adults stop being adults. And for a few minutes, everyone is in the same place, in the same laugh.
That's what we bring. Not juggling, not stilts, not soap bubbles. That moment.
We make people laugh. And that's serious business.
Our only commitment is that what we bring does no harm. Nothing vulgar, nothing miseducating, nothing a parent would have to explain afterwards.
A child who has experienced a moment of real wonder takes something home. They can't name it. But they have it. And they remember it.
The audience does the rest on their own.
They're instruments. Not the show.
It's like asking a doctor what's in their bag. The tools are there, but they're not the point.
Our most famous puppet. He opens almost every show. He almost always steals the scene. Kids adore him. Adults don't see him coming.
Small note: the balloons we use are biodegradable, we travel in a low-emission van. We try to be light even when we're not on stage.
For organizers, details matter.
We are a fully registered business: VAT number, insurance, safety certifications. For anyone organizing public or corporate events, this is not a detail. It's what separates a smooth evening from one that creates problems.
We can come individually or as a duo, depending on the context and budget. We travel by van across Europe, by plane where needed.
We wrote. Because this craft deserves to be told.
